The tower area changes the least from the original design. Changes include:
- Increased the size of the tower to take up more of this corner of the map. This was done to reduce pointless space.
- Added cover to the ledges facing the middle of the map. This makes the tower a more defensible position and less wide open.
- Medium health pick ups added to the ledges.
This is the area I'm least satisfied with. If I were on a team, I'd consult other designers and try to get their feedback. It just seems boring, and the cover provided by the legs of the tower don't provide fun gameplay interactions between the opposing teams. I do like the vantage point provided by the top of the tower, and the lack of cover that it has keeps snipers on their toes.
